Silent Simplicity: A Meditation Retreat
A simple silent meditation retreat
Delight in the magic of summer at Karmê Chöling and embrace relaxation and wakefulness in the beautiful green foothills of Northern Vermont.
This retreat is an opportunity to settle in — to let your mind rest and recover from the demands of the busyness and expectations we all place on ourselves. Allow time to slow down, and check in with yourself and your thoughts.
During this program we will create a warm and inviting atmosphere through simple mindful meditation practice, contemplations and the camaraderie of each other. Here you can:
- Step out of your usual patterns of daily life
- Slow down
- Relax your mind and become fully present
- Look inward, gently coming to know yourself more fully
Let yourself settle and heal in the green lushness of summer. Find solice in time taken for yourself and cultivate resilience for the life you'll return home to!
Great for friends, couples, or individuals.

Attendance & Price
Joining All Sessions or Just a Few
You may join all of the sessions for the weekend or just a few. There is much benefit in being able to do the whole retreat, sinking deeply into meditation even for a couple of days. But the schedule (or your body) may prevent you from being able to do the whole weekend.
The Full weekend has three Main Sessions plus several partial sessions:
- Saturday Morning Session
- Saturday Afternoon Session
- Sunday Morning Session
- Smaller sessions are Friday night, early Saturday morning, late Saturday evening, and early Sunday morning.
Partial attendance is based on the number of Main Sessions you attend. There are two partial attendance options:
- $110 - For two of the Main Sessions
- $60 - For one of the Main Sessions
You'll need to contact our Front Desk in order to register and make arrangements for either of these partial attendance options at: info@karmecholing.org
