Wendy Friedman has volunteered with Shambhala in a variety of capacities over the years – working with major cultural events and designing spaces. She grew up in a Shambhala family, always had great interest in the celebrations, ritual & family customs. In 1985, Wendy was appointed a Sangyum by Trungpa Rinpoche. She served as Director of the Shambhala Office of Culture and is passionate about exploring how we can evolve together and share the beauty of the uniquely Shambhala environments and culture with new and future practitioners.

Wendy owns 2 shops (a clothing store and a home décor store) in North End, Halifax.
